He completed MS Orthopaedics from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore,Manipal University securing 2nd rankin 2013. He did his senior residency from RTRM Hospital, Delhi Govt.He has worked under Dr GurinderBedi atFortis Hospital, Vasantkunj, Delhi.He got trained in Joint replacement while working as a Consultant in the team of Dr. R. K. Pandey in Rockland hospital and Venkateshwar hospital, New Delhi. He has had the opportunity to get further training in the field of Arthroscopy from the prestigious Sports Injury Center, Safdarjung Hospital. He has worked as Senior Consultant and HOD in Department of Orthopedics, Joint replacement &Sports injuries at Mediheal group of hospitals, Kenya for 2 years before coming back to Patna.He keeps on updating his knowledge by attending various training courses and CME programmes across the globe.
He has experience of performing more than 1000 simple and complex trauma surgeries , over 500 Total Knee Replacements ,200 Total Hip Replacements including many revision surgeries and 200 knee and shoulder arthroscopy procedures. His areas of expertise is Complex trauma, Arthroplasty (Knee and Hip replacement ) and Arthroscopy ( ACL & PCL reconstruction, Rotator cuff repair, Bankart’s repair)
